What a brilliant website! As its name says, it provides us a large number of tools to use in the class as a teacher. Nevertheless, I would like to focus in one of these tools, which is used to distribute the furniture of a class in a picture. Also, another tool I would like to underline is one used to construct online quizzes that can include multimedia.

As future teachers, we should keep in mind this website and try to use it frequently since it so helpful for us. In addition, it not only has material for teachers, but it has also for our pupils.

It is one of the most interesting websites in terms of games that students can use to learn in a fun way. At the beginning, you are able to choose the language you want the game with. Once you have chosen it, there are a huge variety of games divided into areas and ages. It is a tool really used in Primary Education by many teachers, so I decided to add it in my Symbaloo to take it into account.

On the other hand, I would like to underline that you can use it in every age of Primary, although it is recommendable to use it in the first three courses.

Believe me, it is a great tool!

What are you waiting for? You have to run your eye over it!

 

 

New website - Phrasal Verbs dictionary

This online dictionary is completely focused on phrasal verbs. It is so useful since it is easy to use and it provides you a large number of phrasal verbs with their definition. Moreover, as a teacher, you can show this website to your pupils since they would easily use it if they had any doubt with some word.

From my point of view, the fact of making our students getting used to use dictionaries, even if they are online ones, is something which is going to enhance their vocabulary, a good tool for their future.

Orange webmixes

I would like to explain you the orange webmixes placed on my symbaloo. They are related to Dropbox, Power Points or Word documents that I cannot add directly in Symbaloo and I use that page so as to share them.

Also, I would like to explain that I have been very busy these last weeks, that’s why I couldn’t share new websites or comments here. I am going to try to keep writing in my blog was well as sharing websites in Symbaloo.

New website - Ted talks

From my point of view, it is one of the most interesting websites in terms of talks. I love the freedom you have to choose the topic you want to listen to. Moreover, they are so interesting and if you do not understand some word you are able to introduce subtitles to understand better the meaning of the sentence.

On the other hand, I would like to highlight that it is a brilliant way to improve your listening skills as well as learning a large number of things from different topics. If you get used to watch at least a video per week, I am sure you will find an improvement in your English level.

Finally, as for the Primary level, it would be quite difficult to use that with pupils aged between sic and twelve years old. The level of the videos is higher than the students’ one. Yet, if you are teaching pupils with a better level of English this website would be a good tool to use with them.

This website is so used for me when I need material so as to practise Proficiency exams. Also, you can find any level you want to focus on, with a huge variety of exercises which are going to help you to pass any exam. Since I discovered this website four or five years ago, I’ve been using it and it has been so useful for me to improve my English skills.

However, depending on the level you are interested in, it is quite difficult to find some exercise for Primary learners. But if you are teaching more advanced pupils, you can use this website as an excellent tool to choose exercises.

This website gives you the opportunity to choose the level you want. Once you have done it, you can choose the topic you are interested in, like “The weather”, “The school”, “Daily actions” and so on. From my point of view, it is useful to show to the whole class since every time you click on an image, a female voice tell you what it is it. However, as a teacher, you cannot base only on this website when you are studying one of the topics that appear on the website.
